Alberto Parmegiani, raffinato chitarrista, è nella musica da più di vent’ anni, di cui sette trascorsi a New York dove si è diplomato al Mannas College of Music con docenti del calibro di Jim Hall e John Scofield. La sua riservatezza e la sua tendenza al perfezionismo lo hanno portato a realizzare soltanto quattro dischi (tre come leader), l'ultimo dei quali è "Under A Shimmery Grace” (A.MA Records). Il nuovo progetto in trio White Waves è un ulteriore passo nella sua carriera artistica, condiviso con Carlo Ferro e Riccardo Gambatesa, che conferma un sound radicato nel nel modern mainstream che guarda a un certo modale di stampo Blue Note, arricchito dei colori e delle dinamiche del jazz più contemporaneo.

Alberto Parmegiani, refined guitarist, has been within the music scene for longer than 20 years, seven of which in NewYork where he studied and graduated at the Mannas College of Music and had the opportunity to attend courses with teachers such as Jim Hall and and John Scofield. His reserved nature together with his search for perfectionism only allowed him to realize 4 records as a leader, among which this last one entitled “Under A Shimmery Grace” (A.MA. Records). His new trio project, marked a further step in his artistic career, together with Carlo Ferro and Riccardo Gambatesa, where they create a sound deeply rooted in the modern mainstream that steams from the modal Blue Note sound enriched, tough by the colors and the dynamics of the contemporary jazz.
